Not completely useless, but close

Purchased this for (mostly) sunny Southern California weather. I'm a student so I had no choice but to keep my new car outdoors, and I didn't want it looking dirty all the time.

For reference, I was using the cover on a Black 2011 Nissan Altima Hybrid (within the size specifications for the cover, but on the lower end.)

Unfortunately, I've been extremely unhappy with this product. There are several reasons for this:
-First, and perhaps most importantly, the stupid thing won't stay on for more than a few days at a time. No matter how I try to secure it, unless I use a hook or something at the bottom it can and will come off. This happens especially often during inclement weather, but even when it's sunny outside the thing still comes off somehow.
-Second, it is neither waterproof (not advertised) nor "water repellent" (advertised). After 30 minutes of rain, my car is as soaked with rainwater as any other car in the lot.
-Third, it DOES NOT keep dust out very well. In fact, the cover seems to make dirt and dust collect in visible streaks at different points on the car. It's probably slightly cleaner than the car would have been without the cover, but the dust is more visible because of the way it collects.

The two stars is generous, in my opinion. I have stopped using the cover because it has caused me more trouble than it's worth.

It's a Nice Fit

This is cheap but totally does the trick. It fits on real good and gives the car great protection. I thought it'd be pricey to get a decent one but this is all you could ask for in a cover for a super good price. I recommend being nice to your car paint with one of these.

Already broken company does not respond to Warranty

The plastic grommet has already popped off. No one will speak with you to cover the warranty. I filled out the Online Warranty claim form and no one has responded. It also doesn't block out the heat or dust very much. The included bag is totally useless after you take the cover out of it. It's nearly impossible to squeeze the cover back in the carry bag. I ended up keeping a garbage bag in the trunk to store it in.
